A Hoodoo
A hoodoo is a pillar of rock, usually of a fantastic shape, left by erosion. The theory of how
it gets created is rather interesting. Water created grooves in the rocks. These grooves
deepen over time, and softer rock are displaced at a higher rate than hard rock, creating
fins. Fins become exposed further and cracks form, which widen when ice forms in winter.
This cracking of the rocks creates hoodoos.
